About this policy

AmpFleet is operated by ZGUY SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS PTY LTD, Australia (“we”, “us”). This policy covers this website and the AmpFleet app.

Information we collect

When you use the app we store:

• your account details: email address, a hashed password and any passkeys you register;
• the access tokens that connect your Tesla vehicles (through Tessie) and your energy systems (Tesla Powerwall or AlphaESS), which are stored encrypted;
• vehicle and energy data we read through those connections, such as battery level, charging state, location, solar production, home battery and grid readings;
• your settings and the charging activity AmpFleet creates: charging modes, schedules, priorities, limits, defined locations, charging decisions and their explanations;
• tokens you create for agent access, and basic device and push notification details if you use a mobile client.

If you contact us through this website we receive the details you submit in the form. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. When you arrive from a campaign link, a first-party cookie may remember that campaign for up to 90 days so we can see which links lead to sign-ups.

How we use your information

We use it to run the service: to read your vehicle and energy data, decide when and how fast to charge, show you your dashboard and history, sign you in, send account emails such as password resets, keep the service secure and reliable, and respond to your enquiries. We do not sell your personal information.

Services we rely on

AmpFleet reads your vehicle data through the Tessie API and your Powerwall data through Tesla’s Fleet API, using accounts you connect, and your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We also use infrastructure providers to host the app and its database, to deliver email, and to collect operational logs and performance telemetry for monitoring. These providers handle data only to provide those services to us.

Storage and security

Data is transmitted over TLS and connection access tokens are stored encrypted. We limit access to personal data, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Agent access tokens you create are read-only, limited to the scopes you choose, and can be set to expire.

Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your account is active. Some detailed operational records are removed automatically after a limited period. You can disconnect your vehicle and energy connections and revoke agent tokens in the app. To access, correct or delete your personal data, or to close your account, email privacy@ampfleet.io and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can. Australian privacy law may give you additional rights.

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version on this page.
